Making Sense Out of the Gift of Discernment
In a world filled with noise, confusion, and competing voices, the ability to discern what God is truly doing has never been more important. Making Sense Out of the Gift of Discernment is a powerful, Spirit-led course designed to help believers grow in their ability to perceive beyond the natural and recognize the activity of God with clarity and confidence. Rooted in passages like Book of Isaiah 6:1–4 and supported by practical biblical examples, this course will help you move from uncertainty to spiritual awareness as you learn to “see” what the Father is doing.
Throughout this course, you will be introduced to the five spiritual senses of discernment—seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching—and how God uses each of them to communicate His heart. Rather than presenting discernment as mysterious or reserved for a few, this training breaks it down into understandable, biblical principles that can be practiced and developed. You will discover how the Holy Spirit uses impressions, scripture, inner witness, and spiritual sensitivity to reveal truth, bring healing, and guide ministry.
This course is not just about information—it is about activation and alignment. You will learn how to discern accurately in a safe and healthy way, grounded in humility, unity, and biblical truth. Emphasis will be placed on avoiding common pitfalls such as assumption, fear-based discernment, or acting independently. Instead, you will be equipped to discern in partnership with others, confirming what God is saying and doing through the wisdom of the Body of Christ.
Whether you are new to discernment or looking to sharpen your spiritual sensitivity, this course will give you the tools, language, and confidence to step into a deeper level of awareness and effectiveness in ministry. Come ready to learn, grow, and ask the most important question: “Holy Spirit, what is the Father doing?”

Divine Design Class - via Zoom
Whatever season you find yourself in, this class will help you to focus your efforts and experience more growth and fulfillment as you pursue God’s purpose for your life. This class is intended to do more than discover your unique personality, interests, upbringing, strengths, and giftings. Its purpose is also to help identify where you are in life now and how to transform even more into what God intends you to be.
Using the Bible as our standard, we will trace back to our original design, both in its complexity and simplicity, and—with personal applications—lay out practical, tailored steps, so we each come to more fully align with our God-given design. Along the way, you will learn to value your own design and appreciate others who are created differently, and—in the end—discover where and with whom God wants you to minister and mature.
Ultimately, this experience will help you align yourself with God’s kingdom, step into His destiny for you, and collaborate with others to maximize your God-ordained impact in this world.

Kingdom Institute Class: My Life is Not Working - What do I do? (Late Registration)
NOTE: This is a late registration opportunity as the class was re-opened due to demand.
The first of two sessions met on Sunday 1/11/26 and the recording will be made available to you upon registering. The class will meet again on Sunday 1/25/26 and will be recorded as well.
About the Class:
Both the internet and bookstores are replete with self-help messages that teach the use of positive thinking and the law of attraction to bring benefits to one's life.
However, the Bible makes it clear that striving after the views of the world is vanity (i.e. Ecclesiastes 2). In addition, the Bible has much to say regarding the spiritual underpinnings of these false belief systems.
Within the two-day sessions, we'll help you understand how these worldviews differ from the teachings of the Bible when it comes to correct thinking and the power of the tongue.
Furthermore, we'll investigate books such as Biology of Belief to show how the truths of the Bible are supported by scientific evidence.
Join us and learn how there is no expiration date
for blessings when we follow Jesus Christ!

Shabbat Sunday
We’re excited to invite you to a special Sunday Service, November 24th, as we dive deeper into the beauty and significance of Shabbat! The word “Shabbat” or “Sabbath” means to “cease, stop, or rest.” It’s a gift from the Lord—a special 24-hour period set aside for us to rest, enjoy family, connect with friends, share a meal, hang out and bless one another. When we embrace this time of rest, God releases His tangible favor over us. Truly, it is “the blessing that blesses.”
This time together is more than just learning; it’s about experiencing Shabbat as a family of God. We’ll be given the opportunity to care for each other, reach each other’s hearts, build each other up, and most importantly, speak blessings over our children—the next generation.
We encourage you to please bring your own lunch, and if you’re able, consider bringing a little extra to share with someone who may be visiting MVCC for the first time. This simple act of generosity can go a long way in helping others feel at home.
We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and reflection as Thanksgiving approaches. Let’s come together, rest, and prepare our hearts to receive and extend God’s blessings.
