Rob and Barbara Gross started Mountain View Community Church in 1992 with 14 people. Their original vision was to reach the people of Kaneohe through seeker sensitive services with short worship times, dramatic presentations, and 'how-to' messages.

In 1996, the Holy Spirit supernaturally encountered Pastor Rob changing the course of his life. As a result, Mountain View transitioned from a purpose-driven, seeker sensitive church to a Holy Spirit, Presence-driven congregation.

Since 1996, the people of Mountain View have witnessed the Lord perform multiple healing miracles, facilitate inner healing for many, and help dozens discover their true identity as His precious sons and daughters.
