This course examines the biblical truth that “life and death are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21) and the profound impact our words have on ourselves, others, and the spiritual atmosphere around us. Students will learn how careless, critical, or destructive speech can open the door to division, wounding, and bondage, while words of blessing, encouragement, and truth bring healing, unity, and life.
Through Scripture study, real-life examples, and practical application, participants will be equipped to recognize destructive patterns of speech, break agreement with negative words spoken over their lives, and cultivate a lifestyle of speaking words that align with God’s heart and purposes.

This in-depth course, taught by Dr. Paul Cox, will take students beyond the basics of discernment and into the advanced operation of this vital spiritual gift. Building on a biblical foundation, participants will learn how to recognize and distinguish between the presence of the Holy Spirit, angelic beings, human spirits, and the demonic. Special emphasis will be placed on sharpening spiritual perception, testing and interpreting what is discerned, and walking in wisdom and humility as vessels of the Lord.
Through teaching, demonstration, and guided ministry exercises, students will gain hands-on experience in identifying spiritual atmospheres, discerning strongholds, and receiving revelation knowledge for prayer, deliverance, and kingdom advancement. This Spirit-led intensive is designed for those who desire to sharpen their spiritual senses through the gift of discernment. Rooted in Hebrews 5:14—“But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil”—this course will provide both teaching and hands-on practice in discerning the aspects of God, the presence of spiritual beings, the activity of spiritual entities, and the reality of locations in the heavenly places.
As we open ourselves to the leading of the Holy Spirit, we expect the Lord to reveal fresh dimensions of discernment and to expand our capacity to perceive His voice and presence. Each day will include guided exercises, activations, and times of corporate ministry, creating space to practice, fine-tune, and grow in discernment within a safe and biblical framework.

In this powerful and practical course, Dr. Paul Cox of Aslan’s Place will train students in the biblical and Spirit-led process of leading generational prayer sessions. Many believers struggle with patterns of bondage, oppression, or hindrances that are rooted in their family line. Through generational prayer, these issues can be identified and broken, allowing individuals and families to step into greater freedom in Christ.
Participants will learn how to discern generational issues, lead others in repentance and renunciation, and partner with the Holy Spirit to release God’s healing and restoration. Drawing from biblical principles and the ministry of Jesus, the class will highlight the connection between unforgiveness and spiritual bondages, as well as its potential to open the door to physical infirmities.
Through teaching, discussion, and practical ministry application, participants will discover how forgiveness dismantles strongholds, breaks chains of bitterness, and restores wholeness to the soul and body. Students will also gain tools to walk others through forgiveness as an ongoing lifestyle, positioning them to experience the fullness of God’s love and freedom.
